This program will be conducted in English.

Appalachia, is a mountainous region in the southeastern United States. It has long been recognized for its rich traditions of music and dance. A blend of European, African, and Native American traditions, square dancing is a unique creation born out of America’s melting pot tradition. 

Join us at the BAC as champion fiddler Erynn Marshall and her husband Carl Jones from Galax, Virginia, share the stage with Chris Hawke and Kirk Kenney of The Mountain High. They will lead genuine American folk dances from the Appalachian Mountains (South East of USA). 

Come prepared to dance at the Beijing American Center. No experience necessary. It’s easy! 

This program is not suitable for children under 6.
