上海美国中心请到CSIS太平洋论坛执行主管Brad Glosserman先生，来就美国与亚太地区关系的未来发展这个话题和大家做交流。CSIS太平洋论坛是位于华盛顿的国际战略与问题研究中心（CSIS）的独立项目。从1975年以来，CSIS太平洋论坛一直提供政策导向的分析，推动了关于地区安全、政治、经济以及环境问题的对话。
The Shanghai American Center is proud to host guest speaker Brad Glosserman,the Executive Director of the Pacific Forum Center for Strategic andInternational Studies (CSIS) for a talk on the future of U.S.-East Asia Pacificrelations through the eyes of a subject matter expert. Pacific Forum CSIS inHonolulu, an independent program of the Washington-based Center for Strategicand International Studies (CSIS), has provided policy-oriented analysis andpromoted dialogue on regional security, political, economic, and environmentalissues in the Asia-Pacific region since 1975.
嘉宾介绍：作为美国与亚太地区关系方面的专家，Glosserman先生与Scott Synder共同出版了《日本与韩国的身份冲突》一书，此书研究讨论了日本和韩国的国家身份以及这对美国在亚太的联盟的影响。他最近刚刚完成了一项为期三年的关于未来美国在亚洲联盟的研究课题，他的观点经常被全球各大媒体引用。此外，他还撰写了大量关于美国外交政策和亚洲安全问题的专著，并在世界各地的会议、研究所、大学做过演讲。Glosserman先生有美国乔治华盛顿大学的法律博士学位，约翰·霍普金斯大学高级国际关系学院的硕士学位和里德学院的学士学位。
About the Speaker: An expert in U.S. – East Asia Pacific relations, Mr. Glosserman is the coauthorof The Japan-South Korea Identity Clash, a study of nationalidentity in Japan and South Korea and its impact on U.S. alliances. He recentlycompleted a three-year study on the future of U.S. alliances in Asia, and hisopinion pieces and commentary regularly appear in media around the globe. Hehas written dozens of monographs on U.S. foreign policy and Asian securityrelations and speaks at conferences, research institutes, and universitiesaround the world. Mr. Glosserman holds a J.D. from George Washington University,an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University’s School ofAdvanced International Studies (SAIS), and a B.A. from Reed College.

本次电影夜活动，上海美国中心带来影片《隐藏人物》(Hidden Figures)，该片由塔拉吉·P·汉森、奥克塔维亚·斯宾瑟、加奈儿·梦奈等人主演，将镜头对准60年代美国国家航空航天局（NASA）的三位非裔女性科学家，讲述她们为1962年美国人首次完成地球轨道飞行项目做出的不为人知的贡献。影片放映后，现场会有来自领馆的外交官带领大家一起讨论。
Join us for a special screening of Hidden Figures, the story of a team offemale African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA duringthe early years of the U.S. space program. The film stars Taraji P.Henson as Katherine Johnson, a mathematician who calculated flight trajectoriesfor Project Mercury and other missions. The film also features Octavia Spenceras NASA supervisor Dorothy Vaughan and Janelle Monáe as NASA engineer Mary Jackson, with Kevin Costner, KirstenDunst, Jim Parsons, Glen Powell and Mahershala Ali in supporting roles. One of our Consulate Officers will lead a post-screening discussion.

上海美国中心和 ShanghaiPRIDE 合作放映纪录片《夏洛特·邦奇的女权传奇》(Passionate Politics: the Life and Work of Charlotte Bunch)。除影片放映外，你也能在现场就其作为女性权利活动家的经历向Charlotte Bunch提问。
The Shanghai American Center is proud to team up with ShanghaiPRIDE for aspecial screening of the documentary “PassionatePolitics: the Life and Work of Charlotte Bunch”. The event will feature not only the film, but alsogive you the chance to ask Charlotte Bunch questions about her work as a globalactivist promoting women’s rights.

“Passionate Politics: The Life and Work ofCharlotte Bunch” brings Charlotte’s story to life, from idealistic young civil rightsorganizer, to lesbian feminist activist to internationally recognized leader.Charlotte’s story is told by women from Asia,Africa, South America and the Caribbean who have worked with her to put women’s rights on the global human rights agenda. Interwoventhroughout the film are excerpts from Charlotte’s personal letters that illuminate her determination tocreate a more just world.
