富布赖特学者讲座：中美音乐文化领域的合作交流/ China - U. S. Cooperation and Exchange in the Field of Music Culture

2016-2017富布赖特学者、中央音乐学院刘月宁教授将以亲身经历，通过音像和图片等形式讲述并与大家分享她在中美音乐文化交流领域的合作交流。

Professor Liu Yuening (2016-2017 Fulbright research scholar) will share her personal experience of cooperation and exchange in the field of music between China and the United States, via videos and photos.

讲者简介：刘月宁，活跃在国际音乐艺术领域的中国扬琴演奏家和教育家。现任中央音乐学院教授、博士生导师，音乐孔子学院办公室及“中外音乐文化交流与体验”基地主任。曾师从张五十先生、桂习礼和项祖华教授。2008年，她在北京国家大剧院音乐厅创建中国第一个扬琴重奏团“茉莉花”，迄今已发行《茉莉花开》《茉莉芬芳》和《夜无眠》三张扬琴重奏经典及新作品专辑；她拥有18张个人演奏专辑和众多扬琴专业出版物。作为中国扬琴国际化发展的领军人物，她在匈牙利罗兰大学获得博士学位；曾作为访问学者在匈牙利李斯特音乐学院研修音乐教育及民间音乐；美国福特基金“亚洲学者”在印度德里大学音乐系研习印度古典音乐；“富布赖特”学者在密歇根大学音乐舞蹈戏剧学院研究美国民间与爵士音乐。作为全国政协委员，欧美同学会副会长及中东欧分会会长，中国民管学会扬琴专业委员会副会长。她的足迹遍及40多个国家和地区，获得了乌克兰、匈牙利、捷克和中国颁发的文化奖项，是国际人文交流的有力推动者。

Speaker:   Professor Liu Yuening is a famous Yangqin (Chinese dulcimer) performer and educator, a shining star on the international art stage. She currently supervises PhD students at Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) in Beijing and works as the director of the Music Confucius Institute Office and the Center for International Music Culture Exchange of CCOM. She was a student of Mr. Zhang Wushi, Prof. Gui Xili and Prof. Xiang Zuhua. In 2008, she set up the first Yangqin Ensemble Jasmine at the Concert Hall of National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing. Jasmine Ensemble has released three albums: Jasmine in Blossom, Jasmine in Fragrance, and Sleepless Night. She has released 18 albums and many publications. As a leading performer and researcher in international Yangqin development, Professor Liu received her PhD at the Eotvos Loránd University in Hungary. She was a visiting scholar at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Hungary doing research in music education and folk music; “Asian Scholar” sponsored by Ford Foundation at the College of Music of University of Delhi doing research in Indian classical music; and “Fulbright Scholar” at the College of Music, Dance and Drama of Michigan University doing research in folk and jazz music. She has many titles, including member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), vice president of the Western Returned Scholars Association (WRSA), president of the Central and Eastern Europe Association of WRSA, and vice president of the Yangqin Association of China Nationalities Orchestra Society. She has been to over 40 countries and regions and has won culture-related awards in Ukraine, Hungary, Czech Republic and China, making a great contribution to international cultural exchanges.

交通：地铁10号，亮马桥站B出口，向东北步行至天泽路和安家楼路交汇处，美国使馆签证处入口。 

Directions: Metro Line 10, Liangmaqiao Station Exit B, walk northeast to the Tian Ze Road intersection of An Jia Lou Road, north side of the Visas Office.
