《多灾之年》空气污染纪录片放映和讨论 “Years of Living Dangerously”: Air Pollution Documentary Screening and Discussion

“Years of Living Dangerously” is a U.S. television series which was broadcast in the U.S. in 2014 and 2016. It features famous Hollywood actors traveling across the world to understand various environmental issues. In episode 8 of season 2, Sigourney Weaver, from the movie “Aliens,” travels to China to understand how China is reducing air pollution. She looks at the progress China is making to reduce emissions even as its economy grows. During the episode she also discusses the air monitor at the U.S. Embassy. Please join us at the Beijing American Center for a chance to view and discuss this episode as well as to hear more about the Embassy’s air monitoring program from one of the Embassy’s diplomats.
