56年前的今天，马丁·路德·金在林肯纪念堂前发表了他的著名演说《我有一个梦想》。在他的演说中，金博士呼吁种族和经济平等，以及结束美国的“吉姆·克罗法时代”和种族歧视。金博士以他的事业为信念，并努力向其他美国人展示不同种族的人民之间彼此平等的重要性。

On this day 56 years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech in front of the Lincoln memorial.  In his speech, Dr. King called for racial and economic equality, and for an end to the Jim Crow Era and racism in the United States.  Dr. King believed in his cause and worked to show the rest of the United States the importance of equality between people of different races.
