返回美国的美国公民如在过去14天内曾前往湖北省，需接受最长14天的强制检疫隔离，保证他们能获得适当的医疗护理和健康筛检。

返回美国的美国公民如在抵达前14天内曾前往中国大陆其他地区，需主动接受入境健康筛检，并且在受监护的情况下自我隔离最长14天，保证他们未感染病毒，不会危害公众健康。

通常，在抵达前的14天内曾前往中国旅行的外国人（美国公民和美国永久居民的直系亲属和机组人员除外）将被拒绝入境美国。

U.S. citizens who have been in Hubei province within 14 days of their return to the U.S. will be subject to up to 14 days of mandatory quarantine to ensure they are provided proper medical care and health screening. 

U.S. citizens who have been in other areas of mainland China within 14 days of their return will undergo proactive entry health screening and up to 14 days of self-quarantine with health monitoring to ensure they have not contracted the virus and do not pose a public health risk. 

Generally, foreign nationals (other than immediate family of U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and flight crew) who have traveled in China within 14 days of their arrival, will be denied entry into the United States.
