为自己负责，为妻儿负责

我将

爱护他们，保护他们，照顾他们，并教育他们

将上帝作为家里唯一的精神领袖

我将忠于自己的妻子

爱她尊重她，我愿为她舍命，就像基督为我舍命

我将教我的儿女全心全意地爱上帝

我将教他尊重权威，负责任地生活

我要对抗邪恶，追求正义，心怀宽容

我将以善良、尊重、恻隐之心对待他人

我将勤勉工作，供养家人

我将原谅冤枉我的人与被我冤枉的人和解

作为完整的个人，我自愿听命于神

to take responsibility for myself, my wife and my children.

I will love them, protect them and serve them.

And teach them the statues of God 

as the spiritual leader of my home.

I will be faithful to my wife, to love and honor her.

And be willing to lay down my life for her, as Christ did for me.

I will teach my son to love God

with all of his heart, all of his mind, and all of his strength.

And I will train him to honor authority and live responsibly.

I will confront evil, pursue justice, and love mercy.

I will treat others with kindness, respect and compassion.

I will work deligently to provide for the needs of my family.

I will forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with those who I have wronged.

I will walk in integrity as a man answerable to God.

I will seek to honor God, obey his word, and do his will.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
