春去夏来，时间的列车开进六月，被分离与孤独撕扯的2020已过半。我们想念开学校园里活泼的欢笑，想念满座放映厅里庄严的寂静，我们企盼日常快些回来。在这段特殊的时期，动画仍是内心的一片净土，大小屏幕里变幻的光，带领我们一次又一次进入安抚心灵的乐园。尽管历史的车轮不会因我们而改变，尽管肆虐的病毒不会因我们而消亡，我们仍坚信动画创作在当下的意义。
费那奇北京动画周，是一场基于作者视角的动画之旅，是探索诗性与灵感的动画展映，是与观众共筑的精神家园。
费那奇北京动画周的组委会由多位活跃于世界动画舞台上的动画创作者组成。我们将从全世界搜集最优秀的动画作品，寻找动画天才，让动画的“小小世界”被大家的目光照亮。
今年11月，虽然面临严峻的考验，我们仍将延续首次举办时的梦想：力求以最优方式呈现动画作品，为观众带来最具奇思妙想的灵感盛宴。我们希望动画周能成为一处作者与观众共建的驿站，共同在这里驻足，不随波逐流的创作理想和努力都将得到尊重。
6月1日起至9月1日，费那奇北京动画周的竞赛单元面向全社会征集优秀的动画作品。无论你是专业还是业余，无论你是在校生、留学生，还是已经工作，只要你相信自己的动画才能，就请火速投递你的作品！

2020年6月1日-9月1日
一、参赛条件
本竞赛无须报名费。
2018年11月之后完成的动画作品可以参赛。
曾报名参加过往届费那奇北京动画周的作品不得重复参赛。
所有参赛作品需添加内嵌的英文字幕。
二、报名材料
每个作品应单独报名，单独填写报名表。
报名邮件中需提交的资料列表：
1. 影片文件的下载链接（请压缩至1GB以下），或者有密码保护的线上播放链接
2. 完整填写并签字的报名表
3. 一张导演照片
4. 三张作品静帧图片（300dpi）
5. （非必须）一张作品海报（300dpi）
6. （非必须）作品的预告片（MOV或MP4格式）
7. 有对白的作品，需提交对白文本（中英文）
三、技术要求
作为初选的影片文件格式：MOV、MP4（请压缩至1GB以下）
如果作品入围，需要提供高清播放文件：MOV（编码：H.264 或 ProRes422，分辨率：1920x1080 或 1280x720，暂不接受DCP 文件）
四、评选和颁奖规则
初选评委会由动画及相关艺术领域专家和费那奇2020北京动画周组委会成员组成，初选评委会负责选定入围影片以及组织竞赛单元、平行单元放映片目。
初选结果将于2020年9月下旬在“费那奇动画小组”微信公众号和“费那奇北京动画周官方Facebook账号”公布。
终审评委由费那奇2020北京动画周组委会邀请的三位专家组成，终审评委将决定最终的评审结果，获奖名单将在费那奇2020北京动画周闭幕式上公布。
五、奖项设置
费那奇奖 1名
奖金5000元人民币，由中国导演主创的竞赛单元中的最佳作品。
动画周奖 1名
奖金5000元人民币，由外国导演主创的竞赛单元中的最佳作品。
学生作品奖 1名
奖金3000元人民币，竞赛单元学生作品中的最佳作品。
费那奇奖评委特别提名 3名
每位终审评委的个人提名作品，由中国导演主创。
动画周奖评委特别提名 3名
每位终审评委的个人提名作品，由外国导演主创。
六、作品授权
所有提交的参赛材料都需要获得版权所有者的授权。
费那奇北京动画周组委会有权使用参赛作品的所有图片、文字资料和不超过总长度10％的影片片段，用于费那奇北京动画周的宣传推广。
竞赛入围作品将在2020年11月举行的费那奇北京动画周活动中放映，费那奇北京动画周组委会无需支付参赛作品的放映授权费。
注意：如因新型冠状病毒的影响导致2020年11月的动画周现场放映活动无法正常举行，费那奇2020北京动画周将转为线上形式。参赛者在报名表中可选择是否同意短期网络播放授权。在该情况下，本届获奖作品会在疫情结束后的下一届费那奇北京动画周的现场活动中回顾展映。如参赛者勾选不同意网络播放授权，仍可参加本届竞赛单元的评奖。

CALL FOR ENTRY
1st June - 1st September 2020
Submission Eligibility
No submission fee is required.
Submitted films need to be made after Nov. 2018.
Works that have already submitted for previous Feinaki Beijing Animation Week cannot be accepted.
Non-English language films must have English subtitles.
Submission Requirements
Each film should be submitted individually with its own entry form.
Every submitted film should include materials as below:
1. Full film download link (please compress to below 1GB) or password protected full film preview link
2. Fully filled and signed entry form
3. A profile picture of the director (300dpi)
4. 3 screen shots of the film (300dpi)
5. (Optional) 1 poster of the film (300dpi)
6. (Optional) Trailer of the film (MOV or MP4)
7. Dialogue list of the film (in Chinese or English)
Technical Requirements
Submitted file needs to be in MOV or MP4 format (please compress to below 1GB).
If submitted film is officially selected for animation week screening, a HD version of the film needs to be provided in MOV format (Codec: H.264 or ProRes422, Resolution: 1920x1080 or 1280x720, DCP file is currently not supported)
Selection Process and Awarding Rules
The official selection decision will be made by Feinaki 2020 Beijing Animation Week Preliminary Selection Committee, which consists of both specialists in the animation and art fields and curators from Feinaki 2020 Beijing Animation Organizing Team. The Preliminary Selection Committee is also responsible for organizing screenings of competition program and panorama special selection.
The official selection result will be published in our official Wechat account "费那奇动画小组" (Feinaki Animation Gang) and Feinaki Beijing Animation Week official Facebook account (@FeinakiBeijing) before the end of September 2020.
Three juries consisting of international animation experts will be invited by Feinaki Beijing Animation Week Committee, making awarding decisions. The awarding results will be published at the ending ceremony of Feinaki 2020 Beijing Animation Week.

3 special nominations at the discretion of each jury, directed by Chinese directors
Jury’s Special Nomination for Animation Week Award

Festival Authorization
All submitted materials for the competition program need to be authorized by the copy rights holder.
Feinaki Beijing Animation Week has the right to use all materials related to the submission as well as a film excerpt up to 10 percent of the total length of the film for promotional purposes.
The films which selected in competition program will be screened at Feinaki Beijing Animation Week in November 2020. Feinaki Beijing Animation Week Committee does not need to pay the screening fee for the entries.
Note: If the on-site screenings in November 2020 cannot be held due to the impact of Covid-19, Feinaki 2020 Beijing Animation Week will be converted to online festival. The entrant can choose whether to give authorization to the short-term internet broadcast in the entry form. Under such circumstance, the award-winning works will be retrospectively screened at next Feinaki Beijing Animation Week after the epidemic. If the entrant does not agree with the internet broadcast authorization, the film can still participate in the awards of the competition program.

如果您拥有上海国际动画节时期的文献、图片或影像资料、或者对此选题感兴趣，善于在文献和网络中获取知识，亦或者您就是曾经上海国际动画节的组织者、参与者或与当事人熟识。请向我们投稿。
投稿文章形式包括但不限于：中外学术文章、访谈、艺术家个案研究或影评等。
您的文章如能入选，将会成为费那奇2020北京动画周线上论坛的一部分。我们将会在费那奇动画小组媒体上推出学术论坛相关活动，文章将在费那奇2020北京动画周的场刊及费那奇动画小组公众号上发表。期盼您的赐稿。
