China unveiled a massive Cabinet reshuffle plan yesterday to make the government better-structured, more efficient, and service-oriented.
The institutional reform plan of the State Council was submitted to the ongoing first session of the 13th National People's Congress for deliberations.
If the plan is passed, the State Council will consist of 26 ministries and commissions in addition to the General Office of the State Council.
昨天，国务院机构改革方案提请十三届全国人大一次会议审议。
根据该方案，改革后，国务院正部级机构减少8个，副部级机构减少7个，除国务院办公厅（General Office of the State Council）外，国务院设置组成部门26个。
