01、Sam sheep can't sleep 绵羊山姆睡不着

Sam Sheep can't sleep.

绵羊山姆睡不着觉。

Sam Sheep gets up.

他从床上爬起来，

Sam Sheep wakes up Pup.

还叫醒了小狗Pup。

Pup barks. 

汪，汪，汪，

“It’s late. It’s dark.”

“很晚啦，天黑啦。”

Go to sleep, Sam sheep!”

“快去睡觉吧，”绵羊山姆。

“I can’t sleep,” says Sam Sheep.

“我睡不着，”山姆说。

I need to see Fat Cat.”

“我想去问问大胖猫。”

“Fat Cat can sleep for weeks and weeks!”

他可以一连好几个星期睡不醒呢。

Fat Cat’s on her sleeping mat in the park.

公园里，胖猫正趴在睡垫上呼呼大睡呢。

Pup barks.

小狗pup汪汪地叫起来。

“It’s late. It’s dark. Go to sleep!”

“这么晚了，天都黑啦，快去睡觉吧！”

“Sorry,” barks Pup. “Sam sheep can’t sleep.”

“对不起，”小狗汪汪地叫，“绵羊山姆睡不着。

“You need to see ted in his red bed.”

“你去看看红床上的小熊泰迪吧。”

Ted is asleep in his red bed.

泰迪在红色的小床上睡得正香 。

Pup bark in the dark night...

黑夜里，小狗汪汪地叫起来... 

Ted wakes up.On goes the light.

泰迪醒了。他扭亮了电灯。

“You gave me a fright!”

“你们吓了我一大跳！” 

“Sorry,” barks Pup. “Sam sheep can’t sleep.”

“对不起，”小狗汪汪地叫，

“绵羊山姆睡不着。” 

“Then let’s see Big Pig. Down the street.”

“那...我们去问问胖胖猪吧，他住在大街的另一头。”

Big Pig grunts, “You woke me up!”

胖胖猪不高兴地哼哼着：“你们把我吵醒啦！”

Fat Cat yawns. “Don’t blame us.”

肥猫打着哈欠喵喵叫：“不要怪我们啦。”

“Sorry,” barks Pup. “Sam sheep can’t sleep.”

 “对不起，”小狗汪汪地叫，“绵羊山姆睡不着。 

“Can’t sleep?” says Big Pig. 

睡不着？”胖胖猪说。

“Then do a jig.”

“那...跳个扭屁屁舞吧。”

“That will make you sleep, Sam Sheep.”

“它会让你睡得香香的，绵羊山姆。”

So Pup starts to jiggle.

于是，小狗挥着爪子扭起来。 

Fat Cat starts to wiggle.

肥猫挺着肚皮摆起来。

Ted does a wriggle.

小熊迈着步子跳起来。

So Pup starts to jiggle.

于是，小狗挥着爪子扭起来。 

Fat Cat starts to wiggle.

肥猫挺着肚皮摆起来。

And Big Pig starts to giggle.

...胖胖猪咯咯地笑起来。

But what about Sam Sheep?

咦，绵羊山姆怎么样了？

Sam Sheep is asleep!

哦...他已经美美地睡着了。

02、Maisy's Christmas Eve《小鼠波波的平安夜》

Snow fell on Christmas Eve.

Snow fell on Maisy's house.

圣诞夜，雪不停的下着。

落到了Maisy的屋顶上。

Snow fell on Charley's house.Snow fell on Cyril's house.Snow fell on Tallulah's house.落到了Charley的屋顶上，落到了Cyril的屋顶上，落到了Tallulah的屋顶上，Snow fell on Eddie!He was on his way to the Maisy.同时，也落到了Eddie的身上，哈哈，他正在去看Masiy的路上呢~
Everyone was invited to Maisy's house for Christmas.Flip-flap!Cyril went on snowshoes and got there slowly.Swoosh!Swoosh!Charley and Tallulah went by sledge and got there quickly.这个晚上，所有的人都被邀请到Maisy的家里一起来过圣诞节。Cyril穿着滑雪鞋，非常慢的到了Maisy家。Charley和Tallulah是坐雪橇去的，很快就到了~
Plod-plop!Eddie walked...and got stuck in the snow!大象埃迪走啊走，结果被卡在了雪里。

At Maisy's house the snow fell thick and fast.And it was...cold!The friends hurried in to keep warm by the fireside.Maisy的房子被厚厚的雪覆盖着，真的...好冷啊！小伙伴们飞快的到了火炉旁取暖。


Everyone got ready for Christmas.But where was Eddie?每个人都准备好过圣诞节了，但是Eddie在哪里呢？They made mince pies,wrapped presents and put up paper chains.But where was Eddie?他们做好了肉馅饼，包装好了礼物，放好了纸链子，但是Eddie在哪里呢？

All together they decorated the Christmas tree.But where was Eddie?They all went out to look for him.他们装饰好了圣诞树，但是Eddie在哪里呢？他们开始出门寻找Eddie了~

They found a shed covered in snow.They found a bush covered in snow.They found snow covered in snow…他们发现一个棚子被雪覆盖着,他们发现一片灌木被雪覆盖着,他们发现一堆雪被雪覆盖着...


...and at last they found Eddie.Hooray!But poor Eddie was stuck in the snow!...最后，他们找到Eddie了，原来呀，Eddie被埋在雪里了!
One,two,three...pull!One,two,three...push!Oh,dear,Eddie was still stuck!一、二、三，拉~~~一、二、三，推~~~但是，Eddie还是陷在里面~
Then Maisy had an idea.She fetched the tractor.One,two,three.这时候，聪明的Maisy有了一个主意，她开来了拖拉机~一、二、三

Pop!At last,Eddie was free!最后Eddie终于重获自由了，哈哈~~~


That evening,everyone gathered around the tree to celebrate.Then the five friends sang Christmas carols together...在那个圣诞夜，小伙伴们围着圣诞树，一起唱着圣诞歌.


And Eddie sang the loudest of all!哈哈，听，Eddie唱的最响亮呢~

03、Happy Birthday, Danny and the Dinosaur!《生日快乐，丹尼和恐龙》

Danny was in a hurry. He had to see his friend the dinosaur. 
丹尼匆匆忙忙的。他必须去见他的恐龙朋友。

"I'm six years old today," said Danny. "Will you come to my birthday party?" 
“我今天六岁了，”丹尼说。“你会来我的生日派对吗？” 
"I would be delighted." said the dinosaur. 
“我很乐意去。”恐龙说。

Danny rode the dinosaur out of the museum. 
丹尼骑着恐龙走出博物馆。

On the way they picked up Danny's friends. "Today I'm a hundred million years and one day old." said the dinosaur. 
在路上，他们把丹尼的朋友接去生日派对了。“今天我一亿岁零一天了。”恐龙说。 
"Then it can be your party too!" said Danny。 
“那么，这也可以当你的生日派对！”丹尼说。 

The children helped Danny's father hang up ballons. 
孩子们帮丹尼的爸爸挂气球。 
"See, I can help too," said the dinosaur. 
“看，我也能帮忙，”恐龙说。 

Danny's mother gave out party hats. 
丹尼的妈妈派发帽子。 
"How do I look?" asked the dinosaur. 
“我看起来怎么样？”恐龙问。

"We would like to sing a song," said a girl and a boy. 
“我们想唱一首歌，”一个女生和一个男生说。 
They sang, and everybody clapped their hands. 
他们倆唱起歌来，其他人都拍掌了。 

"I can sing too," said the dinosaur. 
“我也会唱歌，”恐龙说。 
He sang, and everybody covered their ears. 
它唱起歌来，其他人都盖住耳朵。

"Let's play pin the tail on the donkey," said Danny. 
“我们一起来给驴子订尾巴吧，”丹尼说。 
The dinosaur pinned the tail on himself! 
恐龙把尾巴订在自己身上了！

The children sat down to rest. "Please don't put your feet on the furniture," said Danny. 
孩子们坐下来休息。“请不要把里面的脚放在家具上，”丹尼说。 
The dinosaur put his feet out the window. 
恐龙把脚放到窗外面去了。 

Danny's mother and father gave each child a dish of ice cream. 
丹尼的妈妈和爸爸分给每一个小孩一碟雪糕。 
The had to give the dinosuar more! 
他们要分更多的雪糕给恐龙！ 

"Here comes the birthday cake!" said the children. 
“生日蛋糕来了！”孩子们说。 
They counted the candles. "One, two, three, four, five , six." 
他们数起蜡烛来。“一，二，三，四，五，六。” 

The dinosuar started to eat the cake. 
恐龙开始吃蛋糕。 
"Wait!" said Danny. "First we have to make a wish!" 
“等等！”丹尼说。“我们要先许愿！” 

"I wish we can all be together again next year," said Danny. "I wish the same thing," said the dinosuar. 
“我希望全部人在下一年都能在一起，”丹尼说。“我许了一样的愿望，”恐龙说。 
They blew out the candles. "Happy birthday to you!" everybody sang. 
他们把蜡烛吹灭。“生日快乐！”所有人一起唱。

"This is the best birthday party I have ever had," said Danny. "Me too," said the dinosaur. 
“这是我过得最好的生日派对，”丹尼说。“我也一样，”恐龙说。 

04、The Little Egg《小鸡蛋》

A little egg was in the nest.一颗蛋安静地躺着在鸟窝里。
Pick！Peck！Pock！
嘭！嘭！嘭！蛋蛋开始动了。

The little egg rolled down the straw and out of the barn.他滚啊滚，滚下了草堆，滚出了鸡舍。Pick！Peck！Pock！
嘭！嘭！嘭！蛋蛋不停地翻滚。

The little egg rolled down the hill and into the woods.
他滚啊滚，滚下了小山丘，又滚进了森林。Pick！Peck！Pock！
嘭！嘭！嘭！蛋蛋继续翻滚。

The little egg rolled down a hole ...
他滚啊滚，滚进了一个地洞...
... and shot out into the night.
... 然后嗖的一下射向了漆黑的天空。

The little egg hopped across a field ...他跨越田野...
... and flew up into the sky.
...又飞上天空。
Crack！CRACK! CRACK!
啪！啪！啪！

A little chick was in the nest.小鸡破壳而出啦！
Cheep! Cheep! Cheep!叽！叽！叽！鸡妈妈高兴地叫着！

05、Little Big《小大人》

I am little.

我还很小。

I try to be big.

我试图变成大人。

But it never works.

但从来没有成功。

Little，Little legs，Little hands，Little mouth.

很小，小腿、小手、小嘴巴。

If I had big legs like a giraffe，I could race my brother up the hill…and win.

如果我有像长颈鹿那样长的腿，我就可以和哥哥比赛，而且还能赢。

But I wouldn't be able to ride in the trailer.

但是这样的话，我就不能坐在我的小拖车里了。

If I had big hands like a gorilla，I could open the cookie jar and take as many cookies as I wanted.

如果我的手像大猩猩一样大，那我就能自己打开饼干罐，而且想要多少就能拿多少。

But I wouldn't be able to eat them in my playhouse.

可是那样的话，我就不能在我的玩具小房子里吃饼干了。

If I had a big mouth like a crocodil，I could tell my big brother to go bed early.

如果我有像鳄鱼一样大的嘴巴，我就可以让哥哥早早地上床睡觉啦！

But who would tell me funny stories after dinner?

但是那样谁能在晚饭后给我讲有趣的故事呢？

If I was big like a monster，I could …

如果我像怪兽一样大，我就...

Run，run，run，little legs.

我小小的腿，拼命的跑跑跑；

Hold on tight，little hands.

我小小的手，握得紧紧的；

Not a sound，little mouth.

我小小的嘴巴，没有任何声音。

I am little.

虽然我很小。

Little legs, little hands, little mouth，perfectly little.

小手，小脚，小嘴巴，可是我小的很完美！

06、Bob's Secret Hideaway《鲍勃的秘密藏身之处》

Bob had a secret hideaway , that only he would know.

Bob有一条只有他自己知道的秘密小路。

He crept up there alone at night, to watch the moonlight glow.

他会独自一人在晚上悄悄地爬上树，去看美丽的晚霞。

Then Bob invitedall his firends, but all they brought was noise.

Bob邀请了他所有的好朋友来玩，但是他们却太吵了。

So Bob decided not to share, his treehouse or his toys.

所以，Bob决定不再分享他的树屋和他的玩具。

Now Bob was left alone again, in his treehouse feeling sad.

现在Bob又一个人留在树屋里，他很伤心。

He found his secret was no fun, without the friends he had.

他发现没有朋友，他找到了秘密基地也开心不起来。

He heard a knock upon the door, and opened it a crack.

他听到门外有声音，他打开一道门缝看了一下。

He peeped outside and happily saw, that his friends had all come back.

他在外面东张西望，非常开心地看到他的朋友都回来了。

07、A Jumper for James《詹姆斯的套头毛衣》

I want a new jumper.

我想要一件新的套头毛衣。

Do you like this blue jumper?

你喜欢这件蓝色的套头毛衣吗？

No!

不！不喜欢！

Do you like this green jumper?

那你喜欢这件绿色的吗？

No! No!

不！不！不喜欢！

Do you like this pink jumper?

那这件粉色的呢？

No! No! No!

不喜欢！不喜欢！不喜欢！

I like my old jumper.

我喜欢我的旧套头毛衣。

08、The Hat《帽子》

The bear went in the hat.

一只大熊钻进了帽子里。

The fox went in the hat.

一只狐狸钻进了帽子里。

A rabbit went in the hat.

一只兔子钻进了帽子里。

A duck went in the hat.

一只鸭子钻进了帽子里。

The squirrel went in the hat.

一只松鼠钻进了帽子里。

A mouse went in the hat.

一只小老鼠钻进了帽子里。

The ant went in the hat.

一只蚂蚁钻进了帽子里。

Pop!

只听砰的一声，帽子就被撑破啦！

09、New Blue Shoes《蓝色新鞋子》

Ella put on her blue shoes.

埃拉穿上她的蓝色鞋子。

They were too small.

它们太小了。

"My blue shoes are too small," said Ella.

“我的鞋子太小了。”埃拉说

"We will get you some new blue shoes," said Grandpa.

“我们会给你买双新的蓝色鞋子。”爷爷说

"Ouch!" "Oh,dear!"

“哦！” “哦，亲爱的！”

Grandpa and Ella went into a shoe shop.

爷爷和埃拉走进一家鞋店。

There were some yellow shoes,

那儿有一些黄色的鞋子，

but there were no blue shoes.

但是那里没有蓝色的鞋子。

So they went into the next shop.

所以他们去了下一家商店。

They saw some pink shoes,

他们看到了一些粉色的鞋子，

but no blue shoes.

但是没有蓝色的鞋子。

In the next shop there were some red shoes.

在下一家商店里有一些红色的鞋子。

"These are red shoes,"said Ella.

“这是一些红色的鞋子。”埃拉说

"But I want blue shoes," said Ella.

“但是我想要蓝色的鞋子。”埃拉说

So they went into the last shop.

于是他们走进了最后一家商店。

The last shop was FULL of blue shoes.

最后一家商店满是蓝色的鞋子。

But which shoes did Ella choose?

但是埃拉会选择哪一双鞋子呢？

10、Changing Colours《会变色的兔子》

It is summer.

现在是夏天。

The snowshoe hare is brown,like the log.

雪兔是棕色的，和木头的颜色一样。

In the day the snowshoe hare hides.

白天，雪兔把自己藏起来了。

It can hide inside the log.

它可以隐藏在木头里。

fox

狐狸

It is night.

到了晚上。

The smowshoe hare is looking for food.

雪兔正在寻找食物。

A fox is coming.

一只狐狸来了。

The snowshoe hare stops.

雪兔停了下来。

The snowshoe hare is not staying here.

雪兔不应该呆在这里。

It runs away on its big feet.

它用它的大脚跑开了。

It is too fast for the fox.

这对狐狸来说太快了。

white feet

白色的脚

It is autumn.

秋天来了。

Some leaves are red and brown.

有些树叶是红色和棕色的。

The snowshoe hare has white ears and white feet!

雪兔有白色的耳朵和白色的脚!

Snow is coming down.

下雪了。

It is all over the ground.

地上到处都是雪。

It is all over the trees.

树上到处都是雪。

It is over the log where the snowshoe hare was.

雪兔住的木头上面也都是雪。

The snowshoe hare is in the snow.

雪兔在雪里。

But,it is not brown like the log.

但是，它不像木头那样是棕色的。

It is white,like the snow.

它是白色的，像雪一样。

The fox will have to look and look for the snowshoe hare.

狐狸不得不仔细寻找雪兔。
