Char Beefs up the Lido Nightlife Scene
Char is a stand-alone IHG food and beverage brand which first opened in Indigo Hotel, Shanghai. Since it's opening, the restaurant has successfully built a reputation as a contemporary bar and grill that delivers a fine dining experience within a casual setting.
Occupying the first floor of Crowne Plaza Beijing Lido Hotel, Char focuses on simple flavours and playful presentation. In the kitchen Chef Fernando prides himself on using the freshest local and international produce sourced from Beijing and Shanghai's finest suppliers.
Furthermore, it's the only steakhouse in town serving Wagyu eye fillet beef from David Blackmore's award-winning and environmentally sustainable ranch in Australia. Meat lovers can even choose from five different hand-crafted steak knives, all imported from around the world, as well as six varieties of flavoured sea salts.
