Beijing Unveils New Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus
By Justine Lopez
Beijing has taken its sightseeing game to a whole other level. Literally.
On July 1, the capital unveiled a brand new way to see some of the city’s major tourist attractions. And, you guessed it, it involves a double-decker bus.
The new bus takes visitors all around Line 3 for a fee of RMB20, CRIENGLISH.com reports. Given the fact that the route extends for nearly 55 kilometers, we feel like that’s kind of a steal. The bus will shuttle guests to some of Beijing’s most iconic sites, from the Summer Palace to Beijing National Stadium to the Forbidden City.
And, we’re not gonna lie, sitting back in plush leather seats sure beats huffing it around in Beijing’s brutal summer heat. Just saying.
The bus also comes with free wifi, drinking water and Chinese and English translations.
We'll take it.
