You Can Now Post 10 Second Videos on WeChat Moments

WeChat upgrade alert!

You can now save footage to your phone and share looping videos that are up to ten seconds in length.

Previously videos, also known as "Sights," were limited to just six seconds. The latest version of WeChat, released this week, now simplifies that into one "Camera" option, which lets you take photos or record video by pressing the little icon on the top right corner of your screen.

Press and hold the record button at the bottom of the screen to take your photo/video. You can even shoot it horizontally (because vertical videos are for amateurs).

Just livestreaming ourselves reading the December 2016 issue of That's in vertical mode, smdh.

Another bonus: you can now share videos from your Camera Roll to Moments, a feature that was long overdue in our humble opinion. Now you'll no longer have to wait to load up WeChat to record that video of your awesome dinner/concert/night out/beach view or *gasp* record funny videos from your computer screen. Woo hoo!
