金像奖为何颁给中年女茶水工？默默无闻30年，她见证了香港电影史

每年的香港金像奖颁奖典礼，群星璀璨，镁光灯总是追逐着各路明星大腕。而今年，一位从未登上过大荧幕、甚至不是电影行业从业者的中年女茶水工却成了全场的焦点。

4月15日晚，在第37届香港电影金像奖颁奖典礼现场，负责在片场为剧组送水、供饭的茶水工杨容莲获得专业精神奖。

自1990年加设这一奖项以来，获得该荣誉的大多是为香港电影事业做出杰出贡献的资深演员或幕后制作人员。颁给片尾演职员表上都未署名的茶水工，实属首次。

是怎样的一个人能获得如此殊荣？

入行三十年，杨容莲不辞辛苦、默默无闻地为无数个剧组服务，贴心得记住每个人的口味，牺牲自己的休息时间为台前幕后的工作人员送上饮料、盒饭以及温暖的笑容，被大家亲切地称作“茶水莲姐”。她是古天乐的“开心果”。阿Sa说，“只要有莲姐在，开工不会口渴”。

当她登上领奖台时，全场嘉宾自发起立为这位“茶水莲姐”鼓掌，国际巨星成龙不远万里飞回香港，专门为她颁奖。

发表获奖感言时，杨容莲回忆前辈的话说：“出来工作要用心，你对人好，人也会对你好。”

The "Professional Spirit Award" at the 37th Hong Kong Film Awards went to a woman who had never been on-screen in her life – Pauline Yeung. 

Presented by Jackie Chan, the actor applauded her for her special designation among Hong Kong filmmakers – bringing tea when people need it most. 

Yeung is a film crew waiter whose main job is to provide drinks for filmmakers behind the scenes.

It is the first time that a member of the service staff won the prize. Yeung has served nearly every famous actor and actress in the Hong Kong film industry, with many praising her for her careful and considerate service.

The job sounds simple, but goes beyond just the physical. The role requires attention and a great memory, as large film sets can have as many as 100 people, with varying tastes and needs.

Yeung was recommended to the job 30 years ago. At first, the producer told her, "Your job is just to look after the director and the actor, and nothing else." But then she saw that other staff were working hard too. She took care of everyone. 

Although the work was hard, Yeung is always optimistic. Though she is illiterate, but she said the role helped her earn a decent salary. "It's not easy for me to have this salary, so I respect it," Yeung said.

The "Professional Spirit Award" was set up in 1990 by the Hong Kong film awards association to praise veteran actors or behind-the-scene crew members who have contributed to the Hong Kong film industry.
