强强联手！中国国际电视总公司与阿里巴巴签订技术合作协议

China International Television Corporation (CITC), a subordinate company of the China Media Group (CMG), signed a deal to enhance cooperation with the Alibaba Group on Saturday.

The partnership covers fields including cloud platform, big data, mobile applications and the construction of digital platforms.

The two sides will set up a joint team to establish a hybrid cloud platform that is expected to improve the ability of distribution platforms to deliver content at home and abroad.

They will also team up to develop the application technology for big data in a bid to launch audience analysis from multiple terminals, make content labels for both live streaming and on-demand broadcasting and also provide research into advertising.

Bilateral cooperation will also extend to the field of mobile applications, where both sides will establish a technical team or company to develop powerful mobile clients.

The two sides also plan to build labs to develop artificial intelligence (AI) applications that will be used in the creation, production and distribution of video content, primarily as a way to promote innovation in programs as well as in the user experience.

In terms of public-interest and new-media ads, the two will establish a joint planning team to make project plans and commit to enhancing public welfare.
