British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Brexit plan faced mounting challenges, not only from the parliament but also from the public.
During his visit to Morley in Leeds on Friday, a man told Johnson that he should be in Brussels negotiating UK's exit with European Union rather than visiting Leeds.
"You should be in Brussels negotiating. Where's the negotiation going on? Where is it? You're in Morley, in Leeds. You should be in Brussels," the man heckled Johnson. "You're playing games with parliament. You're playing games with the public."
This was not the most embarrassing moment in his visit. Another passerby shook hands with Johnson, slapped his back and said: "Please leave my town." Johnson promptly replied: "I will very soon."
The video footage of the man and Johnson soon went viral, and the hashtag #pleaseleavemytown also started trending on Twitter.
“后院起火”
当然，比起来自民众的几句奚落，政府内部的混乱更让这位上任仅一月有余的新首相焦头烂额，鲍里斯的脱欧计划在“后院”不停起火的状况下面临着越来越大的压力。
