崔天凯谈中美高层战略对话：希望双方带着诚意而来，带着更好的理解离开
此次会议可谓双方在重建中美关系的过程中迈出的“第一步”。路透社评论称，这场对话意味着世界上两个最大的经济体正在努力处理双方在特朗普任期内跌至“冰点”的关系。
3月17日，中国驻美国大使崔天凯在阿拉斯加就中美高层战略对话接受了多家媒体采访。此次中美高官会议是自中美元首除夕通话后首次高层接触，也是自美国总统拜登就任以来的首次面对面高级别会议。
崔天凯表示，中国不指望一次对话就能解决中美之间所有问题。
他说，中国对这次对话也没有过高的期待或者幻想，希望这次会晤能够开启双方坦诚、建设性、理性对话和沟通的过程。双方带着诚意而来，带着更好的理解离开。
Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Cui Tiankai on Wednesday met the press in Alaska before the China-U.S. High-level Strategic Dialogue, with China's latest information and comments on the first face-to-face high-level meeting since U.S. President Joe Biden took office.
China does not expect one dialogue to resolve all the issues between China and the U.S., Cui Tiankai said.
He also said China does not have overly high expectations and hopes the meeting can set in motion a candid, constructive and rational process of dialogue and communication between the two sides.
对于此次会议前夕美国与其盟国进行沟通的举动，崔天凯表示，美国与其他国家发展双边关系不应以第三国为目标，不应损害第三方利益。有什么问题要跟中方谈，尽管可以面对面摊开来谈。
谈及美国宣布由于香港问题对中方24位官员进行制裁，崔天凯强调，中国坚决反对美国做这种损害中方主权、损害双边关系的行为，如有必要，会采取反制行动。
在回答央视记者提问时，崔天凯表示，在涉及到中国的主权、领土完整、国家统一的问题上，中方没有任何妥协退让的余地，这也是中国将在这次会谈中清楚表明的态度。

"Of course, it is their business if the United States and other countries want to develop their bilateral relations. We just hope that any such bilateral activities will not target a third country or harm the interests of a third country," said Cui Tiankai.
Referring to an announcement by the U.S. State Department that it had imposed sanctions on 24 Chinese officials due to the Hong Kong-related matters, Cui Tiankai stressed "Our position is very clear. We firmly oppose it and will take necessary countermeasures, and this time is no exception."
When answering a question from a China Media Group reporter, Cui said, "The several issues you mentioned just now involve China's national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national unity. With regard to these core interests, China has no room for compromise and concessions."
此次会晤地点为什么选在阿拉斯加州？分析认为，阿拉斯加州的地理位置是主要的决定性因素。阿拉斯加州位于北美大陆西北端，不与美国本土相连，而安克雷奇与北京和华盛顿的距离相当，对两国来说是一个相对折中的地方。值得一提的是，阿拉斯加州属于全美疫情控制较好的州。
此外，安克雷奇与中国颇有渊源。中国黑龙江省省会哈尔滨与安克雷奇是友好城市。阿拉斯加州和安克雷奇市是中美关系发展历程的参与者和见证者。
不过希望这次中美高层会晤的结果不会像阿拉斯加气候一样降至“冰点”， 而是“相向而行”。
