数千年来，南海的海岸线一直是中国疆域上浓墨重彩的一笔，如此重要，又如此美丽。

这里水清沙白，海天一色，有丰富的渔业资源和繁忙的国际贸易。曾经，这里的人们与大海一同孕育出独特的风土人情，而今，中国从这里跨越海岸向深蓝发起探索，提升海洋产业，惠及一方。

来自世界的文化与贸易在这里融汇了千余载，南海的海风吹起的不止海潮，也是时代的浪潮。

For more than a millennium, different cultures travelling with maritime trade met at port cities, setting off new fashions. An eagerness to embrace new ideas is part of the coastal region’s character, as attested by the daily life around the South China Sea.

在风潮的另一面，这些南方的城镇也在努力留驻安静的旧时光。
