吴尊友回应我国部分城市检测到有印度变异毒株

中国疾控中心流行病学首席专家吴尊友29日在发布会上介绍，亚洲等部分国家的疫情快速上升再次敲响警钟：新冠疫情防控远远没有结束，具有艰难性、复杂性、反复性、长期性。

针对我国部分城市检测到有在印度发现的变异毒株的现象，吴尊友表示，病毒变异一直都在发生，只要流行不停，病毒都在变异。所以落实防控措施最为关键，既可以终止变异毒株的流行，也可以防止新的变异的发生。常态化防控策略是我国保持良好的新冠疫情形势的关键。“五一”期间、“五一”以后，仍将继续坚持常态化防控的各项措施。

目前国际疫情形势非常严峻，外防输入的压力更大，吴尊友提醒大家不要掉以轻心，每个人都要坚持常态化防控措施，个人的各项防护措施的落实，才能继续维持好良好的形势。

China has detected the novel coronavirus strain that was found in India in some Chinese cities, and the implementation of preventive measures is the key to stop the transmission, Wu Zunyou, chief epidemiologist with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said at a press conference on Thursday.

The surge in COVID-19 cases in some Asian countries has again sounded the alarm that the prevention and control of COVID-19 is far from over, which, instead, is difficult, complex, recurrent and long-term, said Wu.

The expert also pointed out that the mutation of the novel coronavirus has been occurring since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and will not stop as long as the pandemic continues.

But the transmission of different virus variants can be stopped, Wu said. "Implementing containment measures is crucial both to stop the spread of the mutant strains and to prevent the occurrence of new mutations."

He also stressed the importance of normalizing epidemic prevention and control measures as China's Labor Day holiday nears, and cautioned everyone to continue practicing personal protective measures.
