11天296例！警惕！

近日，全国多地发生疫情。

仅7月21日到7月31日的11天内，31个省区市（含兵团）就已新增296例本土确诊病例。

南京：31日新增14例确诊

Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, reported 14 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Saturday, local health authorities said on Sunday. 

As of Saturday, a total of 204 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the city since the latest outbreak on July 20.

张家界：实行交通管制

The city of Zhangjiajie in central China's Hunan Province has imposed traffic restrictions amid a new wave in the COVID-19 pandemic, which came into effect at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The restrictions suggest that residents stay at home and prohibit gatherings, the local authorities said.

河南：此次疫情主要为德尔塔毒株引起

The Delta variant mainly triggers the latest COVID-19 outbreak in central China's Henan, local health officials said on Sunday.

Henan recorded one locally transmitted confirmed cases and two asymptomatic cases from midnight to 3 p.m. on Sunday, officials said, urging stricter preventive measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

北京：新增2例京外关联本地确诊

Beijing registered three new COVID-19 cases linked to outbreaks elsewhere in China on Sunday, officials said, including two confirmed cases and one asymptomatic.

The three patients are from the same household, who returned to Beijing from tourist city Zhangjiajie in central China's Hunan Province.

扬州：交通管控升级

East China's Yangzhou City of Jiangsu Province tightened COVID-19 control measures and announced on Friday to suspend all inbound and outbound domestic flights at its Taizhou International Airport.

All passengers need to provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate issued within 48 hours and a health code to leave the city via railway stations in the city.

Bus, taxi, and ride-hailing services were suspended in the main district in the city. Twenty expressway toll booths near the city were closed.

疫苗接种仍必要

昨晚的国务院联防联控机制新闻发布会介绍道：从目前全球的情况来看，打疫苗后又被感染系突破病例，不属于例外。现有研究显示，全球各条技术路线的疫苗对新冠变异株保护率确实存在一定程度下降。但各种变异株仍在现有疫苗可控范围内，我国防控措施有效，我国没有大规模暴发疫情的现实环境。为了大家的安全，请在接种疫苗后继续维持防护措施。

Official figures show that over 1.6 billion vaccine doses have been administered on the Chinese mainland, including for 150 million people over 60 and 12 million people between the ages of 12 and 17. Some of those infected by the Delta variant had already received their jabs, according to reports, but Chinese health experts say vaccines still have protective efficacy.

"Infections after vaccination are called breakthrough cases. This is normal, not an exception. But breakthrough cases still make up a small proportion of the over three billion doses administered globally. Current studies show the efficacy of vaccines, in all technical routes, did drop by some extent. But the variants are still controllable by vaccines," said Shao Yiming, chief expert and researcher at the Chinese CDC.

"A large-scale outbreak isn't realistic in China, given the country's effective control measures and world-leading vaccination rate," Shao noted.
