多国专家：美国谎言被戳穿 病毒溯源调查报告未见所谓的“证据”

全球新冠肺炎疫情起伏反复，疫情防控形势依然严峻，国际社会迫切需要合作、信心和希望。然而，美国却出于政治私利和偏见，对中国一味甩锅指责。

2021年5月，美国总统拜登要求美国情报部门“加大力度”调查新冠病毒源头，并于90天内提交调查报告。

当地时间8月29日，美国共和党众议员迈克·加拉格在个人官方网站发表声明称，“情报部门公布的溯源非机密报告完全可以总结为三句话：

‘我们不知道、调查不能就此结束、报告引发的问题比回答的问题还要多。’ ”

此外，加拉格还指责美国情报部门言论前后矛盾、逃避责任。事实上，2020年4月30日，美国国家情报总监办公室还发表了一份声明称，“美国情报界同意广泛的科学共识，即新冠病毒不是人造的或基因编辑的”。

In May, U.S. President Joe Biden ordered U.S. intelligence officials to "redouble" efforts to investigate the origins of COVID-19, including the theory that "it came from a laboratory in China." He asked the intelligence group to report back to him within 90 days.

"The unclassified summary of the Intelligence Community probe into the origins of COVID-19 could have been shortened to three simple words: we don't know. This cannot be the end of the investigation and raises more questions than it answers." U.S. Republican from Wisconsin Mike Gallagher released a statement on his website. 

Gallagher also accused the U.S. intelligence community of making inconsistent statements and evading responsibility. On April 30, 2020, the U.S. intelligence agencies issued a statement saying they agreed with "the widespread scientific consensus" that the COVID-19 virus was "not manmade or genetically modified."

情报界没有科学溯源能力

耶鲁大学公共卫生学院院长斯滕·维尔蒙德认为调查新冠病毒起源是一件好事，但不幸的是，现在这个问题被政治化了，全球公共卫生已成为一场政治足球，被踢来踢去以试图获得政治优势。

The 90-day intelligence review into the origins of COVID-19 ordered by U.S. President Joe Biden was "driven by political goals rather than medical ones," a world leading infectious disease epidemiologist from Yale University has told Yuyuan Tantian, a social media account affiliated with China Media Group.

COVID-19 origins study, unfortunately, has been politicized, and global public health has been politically manipulated in an attempt to gain political advantage, he said.

Vermund suggested the world's top scientists from diversified research fields, such as biologists, epidemiologists, statisticians, modeling experts, lab safety experts and dietary preference experts, as well as experts on global movement of people and animals, get involved to conduct a thorough study to figure out issues like how the virus is present in mammals.

He added that lab security, in a scientific context, is a legitimate and necessary part of research. However, saying that the coronavirus leaked from a Wuhan lab is pure speculation without any evidence. 

俄罗斯流行病学家：

美溯源报告极度荒谬

8月28日，俄罗斯国家杜马（议会下院）议员、俄罗斯科学院院士、著名流行病学家奥尼先科在接受俄罗斯联邦新闻通讯社（riafan）采访时表示，美国情报部门所谓新冠病毒溯源的报告是荒谬的。

奥尼先科表示，美国情报部门的报告未对新冠病毒是否由自然界传染给人类，或者病毒来自实验室泄漏等问题给出结论性定义，该报告同时声称，调查结果表明，新冠病毒并非是作为生物武器创造而来，但并未否定病毒系人工制造。

奥尼先科强调，美情报部门原本应当吸纳病毒学家、流行病学家和传染病专家参与报告编制，然而报告中并未提及和摘引学界人士的观点。美情报部门仅基于自身准则就炮制出报告，这极度荒谬。

Gennadiy Onishchenko, the first deputy head of the Russian State Duma Committee on Education and Science, claimed the U.S. concocted COVID-19 origin-tracing report is groundless.

"The origin-tracing investigation should be conducted under the framework of the WHO, and co-led by experts from various countries. "

He also emphasized that the U.S. has repeatedly obstructed the Biological Weapons Convention verification mechanism establishment over 20 years and rejected international investigations.

病毒溯源政治化

是美国在玩弄政治权力

赞比亚国际政治专家李·哈巴松达29日在接受总台记者采访时表示，美国因为惧怕中国对其世界地位构成威胁，所以将新冠病毒溯源问题政治化，这正是美国玩弄国际政治权力游戏的表现。

“在某种意义上病毒溯源问题被（美国）政治化了，这也正是我们当前看到（美国）玩弄国际政治权力游戏的一种表现。

任何国家如果在这个时候还利用病毒溯源问题来指责中国，我认为，这是他们没有认识到（世界抗疫工作的）重点，因为当前新冠病毒已经成为了全球共同面对的挑战，如果我们总是消耗精力来相互指责，那么我们将不能顾全大局挽救更多生命。”

The politicization of the coronavirus origins-tracing is nothing but a manifestation of an international power play by the United States, said Lee Habasonda, a Zambian expert on international politics, in a recent interview with China Media Group. He said the U.S. is politicizing coronavirus origins-tracing because it is afraid of China challenging its global status.
