孟晚舟，即将回到祖国！
经中国政府不懈努力，当地时间9月24日，孟晚舟女士已经乘坐中国政府包机离开加拿大，即将回到祖国，并与家人团聚。
当天，孟晚舟律师威廉·泰勒发表声明称，“我很高兴孟晚舟女士与美国司法部达成了暂缓起诉协议，且该协议已获得纽约东区法院法官安·唐内利的批准。根据该协议条款，她不会被美国进一步起诉，加拿大的引渡程序将会终止。孟女士没有认罪，我们十分期待14个月后对她的指控将被完全撤销。现在，她即将重获自由，回家与家人团聚。”
After nearly three years of detention in Canada, Huawei Technologies' CFO Meng Wanzhou left the country on September 24 local time, flying back to China on a charter flight arranged by the Chinese government and expected to arrive in Shenzhen Saturday night Beijing Time.
She expressed thanks to the people, media, and governments of China and Canada in remarks after her house arrest in Canada ended on Friday as the U.S. Department of Justice dropped its request for her extradition.
"Over the past three years, my life has been turned upside down. It was a disruptive time for me as a mother, a wife, and a company executive. But it was an invaluable experience in my life," she said.
"I will never forget all the good wishes I've received from people around the world. As the saying goes, the greater the difficulty, the greater the growth."
Meng has not pleaded guilty to fraud charges, William W. Taylor, III, one of the lawyers representing Meng, said in a statement after Meng ended three years of house arrest in Canada.
"I'm very pleased that Sabrina Meng and the U.S. Department of Justice have reached a deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) and it has been approved by Judge Donnelly," the statement said. "Under the terms of this agreement, Ms. Meng will not be prosecuted further in the United States, and the extradition proceedings in Canada will be terminated."
"She has not pleaded guilty and we fully expect the indictment will be dismissed with prejudice after fourteen months. Now, she will be free to return home to be with her family."

Huawei's Chief Financial Officer Meng Wanzhou has released a statement detailing her feelings over her extradition case and return to China. She expressed her gratitude to China and all those who have supported her over the past three years, saying she wouldn't have gained her freedom without the support of a strong China. She praised the development of the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Meng also expressed gratitude for living in peaceful times. She said support from China, both at the governmental and civil level, gave her faith and kept her going during what she called "dark moments." She said the way back home, although difficult, has been very heart-warming.

2018年12月，孟晚舟在温哥华国际机场被捕，历经1028天，她终于重获自由，返回祖国。
今天下午，华为公司发表声明表示，期待孟晚舟尽快安全回国，与家人团聚。华为将继续在美国纽约东区联邦地区法院的公司诉讼中维护自己的权利。
Meng, who is the daughter of Huawei's founder Ren Zhengfei, was arrested in December 2018 at Vancouver International Airport by Canadian police at the request of the United States while she was transiting to Mexico.
The court proceedings show the U.S. issued the arrest warrant and claimed that Meng misled HSBC about Huawei's business in Iran. Meng and Huawei denied the accusation.
Afterward, Meng was released on bail to house arrest in Vancouver and an extradition hearing began in a Vancouver court in January 2020. The legal proceedings ended in mid-August this year without a decision.
In May 2019, U.S. Commerce Department put Huawei and 70 affiliates on a trade blacklist. Over the next year, the company sold Honor, its budget smartphone brand, in November to a consortium to help the unit survive in the face of U.S. sanctions.
Chinese telecom giant Huawei said Saturday it will 'defend itself' against legal claims that it flouted U.S. sanctions after officials dropped fraud charges against top executive Meng Wanzhou and ended a three-year stand-off.
