北京冬奥首场测试赛开赛

10月8日，北京冬奥会国际赛事测试赛的首场比赛——“相约北京”速度滑冰中国公开赛在北京国家速滑馆举行。来自中国、韩国和荷兰的30名运动员参赛。

在首先进行的女子3000米比赛中，来自荷兰的克莱伊维尔德以4分25秒32的成绩获得第一名。随后还进行了男子5000米、女子500米、男子500米三个项目的比赛。

由于本次测试赛有境外运动员参加，比赛的整体氛围更加贴近于正赛。通过测试赛，运行团队将能够从外国运动员的角度得到更多对于场馆、冰面的反馈，有助于场馆运行团队在最后的几个月更加有针对性地开展筹备工作。

自10月至12月，北京、延庆、张家口三个赛区的8个竞赛场馆将举办10项国际赛事、3个国际训练周和2项国内测试活动。

Dutch and South Korean skaters split four golds at the National Speed Skating Oval in Beijing on Friday's opening day of the Speed Skating China Open, a test event for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

It is the first test event featuring international competitors and will cover all facilities at the three Games zones in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou, ahead of the global sports extravaganza that begins in February 2022.

Sophie Kraaijeveld of the Netherlands won the women's 3,000 meters in 4:25.32, followed by Yang Binyu of China 0.29 seconds behind. South Korea's Park Chae-won came third in 4:26.46.

"It's a beautiful stadium and I'm honored to skate here. I had a very comfortable skating experience today," Kraaijeveld said through an interpreter.

Chinese skater Yang, mass start champion at the 2020 Youth Olympics, referred to the Oval as "beautiful and well-equipped."

In men's 5,000 meters, Chung Yang-hun of South Korea took gold in 6:48.09. China's Ma Xingguang bagged a silver in 6:49.98, while Gert Wierda of the Netherlands claimed the bronze 0.72 seconds further behind.

Kim Jun-ho of South Korea and Youth Olympic champion Isabel Grevelt of the Netherlands triumphed in the men's and women's 500 meters races, respectively.

The three-day China Open, which features 12 categories, is the start of 15 series of testing activities that will last until the end of the year, including events like skating, sleigh and ski jumping.
