The New York Times recently published an article titled “China’s Zero-Covid Policy is a Pandemic Waiting to Happen.” Lacking both convincing analysis and scientific evidence, its claim sounds more like the hack prophecy of a bamboozling fortune teller who later discovers that, in fact, the U.S. is itself stuck in the very same COVID-19 predicament that it had wished upon others.
