China's crewed spaceship Shenzhou-14, atop a Long March-2F carrier rocket, was transferred to the launchpad at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on Sunday, according to the China Manned Space Engineering Office (CMSEO). The Shenzhou-14 spacecraft will be launched in June with three astronauts aboard, said Huang Weifen, the chief designer of the astronaut system for China's manned space project, at a press conference on April 17. All the facilities and equipment at the launch center are in good condition, and various prelaunch functional checks and joint tests will be carried out as scheduled, the CMSEO said.
