数观｜截至2021年底 中国共产党党员总数为9671.2万名

中共中央组织部最新党内统计数据显示，截至2021年底，中国共产党党员总数为9671.2万名，比上年净增343.4万名。

Membership in the Communist Party of China (CPC) surpassed 96 million by the end of 2021, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee announced on Wednesday.

中国共产党现有基层组织493.6万个，比上年净增11.7万个。其中基层党委27.8万个，总支部31.6万个，支部434.2万个。

The CPC has nearly 5 million grassroots organizations. Among them, there are about 278,000 grassroots Party committees, 316,000 general branches and over 4.3 million branches, the department said in a report ahead of the 101st founding anniversary of the CPC on July 1.

2021年共发展党员438.3万名，比上年增加195.6万名。发展女党员204.2万名，占46.6%。发展少数民族党员40.0万名，占9.1%。发展35岁及以下党员354.0万名，占80.8%。发展具有大专及以上学历的党员211.5万名，占48.3%。

The leading force of Party organizations at the village and community levels has also been improved, featuring a rising proportion of Party secretaries aged 35 and below and those with junior college degrees or above, according to the report.

党员队伍结构持续优化。女党员2843.1万名，占党员总数的29.4%。少数民族党员728.5万名，占7.5%。大专及以上学历党员5146.1万名，占53.2%。与2012年底相比，大专及以上学历、女性、少数民族党员占比分别提高13.2、5.6、0.7个百分点。工人和农民仍是党员队伍主体，占总数的33.6%。

The composition of Party membership has continuously improved with better levels of education and steady growth in the proportion of female members and those from ethnic minority groups.

More than half of CPC members, 53.2 percent, hold a junior college degree or higher. The number of female Party members grew from 21 million in 2013 to 28 million, accounting for 29.4 percent of the total membership. Members from ethnic minorities have also increased from less than 6 million to over 7 million, accounting for 7.5 percent.

Workers and farmers continue to make up the majority of the CPC members, accounting for 33.6 percent of the total membership, data from the report showed.
