高端访谈 | 菲律宾总统：我只维护国家利益，不会选边站队

菲律宾总统马科斯在接受CGTN主持人王冠采访时表示，希望借此次访华的机会，推动南海议题直接沟通机制。他期待与中方联合勘探海上天然气，并指出双方磋商的关键在于挑选适用的法律。而对于外部势力在印太地区的对华敌对活动，他借用谚语“大象打架，草地遭殃”表明“菲律宾不选边站队”的立场。

He also hopes the Philippines and China will find a way to jointly explore maritime resources. As for geopolitics, the Philippines will not be dragged into the old Cold War formula and be forced to pick a side.
