上周五，以色列国防军(IDF)命令加沙北部的居民在以色列可能发动地面进攻之前撤离到加沙地带南部地区，数千名巴勒斯坦人已离开家园。CGTN13日拍客在加沙城街头拍摄到，上千个巴勒斯坦家庭通过步行、开车、乘坐卡车等方式沿主路离开该市。在一段视频中，一名行动不便的老人被家人抬出房子，准备撤离。

Thousands of Palestinians began leaving their homes on Friday as the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued a 24-hour evacuation order for residents in northern Gaza, telling them to evacuate to the southern area of the Gaza Strip ahead of a possible Israeli ground offensive.

Footage by CGTN Stringer show thousands of Palestinian families with packed possessions traveling down a road out of Gaza City by foot, cars and trucks. In one clip, an elderly woman was carried out of the house by family members in preparation for evacuation.

CGTN reporter Noor Harazeen, live from in front of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza Strip, witnessed a continuous stream of ambulances bringing injured or killed civilians in Israeli airstrikes, many of them women and children. Noor said "as you can see behind me , and around me, there is actually nowhere safe here in Gaza." She also personally witnessed the moment when the body of an infant was carried out from the ambulance.

Israel ordered residents of the populous Gaza City to evacuate southward within 24 hours.
