A 1-Day Holiday for May 1st?! Updated China Holiday Calendar!
Hey, dear readers.
Last month, we published an article for the 2019 Chinese Holiday Calendar.
But on Dec.6th, the Chinese General Office announced an updated version of the 2019 official holiday calendar.
Everything is the same as the last version we posted,
except for the labor day holiday.
Labor day:
May 1st, just one day holiday.
No need to work for April 27 and 28.

New Year holiday
Spring Festival holiday
Qingming Festival Holiday
April 5 (Qing Ming festival) - April 7 (Sunday), three days off altogether.
Labor Day holiday
Dragon Boat Festival holiday
Mid-Autumn festival holiday
Sep 13rd, 2019 - Sep 15th. 3 days off.
The Mid-Autumn festival falls on Friday, Sep 13th.
It is same as the Dragon Boat Festival.
You don't need to make up any work days on weekends.
National Day holiday
Oct 1, 2019 - October 7. Seven days off!
You’ll be required to work on September 29 (Sunday) and October 12 (Saturday).
That's the schedule for the 2019 holidays.
There are 7 holidays in total.
