Lie In Bed For 60 Days and Then Get Paid 16,500 Euros?!

Great news, lazy people!

There's a job that will pay big bucks for you to lie in bed for two months.

We all know that space travel is dangerous and expensive, so the German Aerospace Centre is looking for people to take part in a sleep study on how the body responds to weightlessness. The center is carrying out the research on behalf of NASA and the European Space Agency.

All participants need to do is spend 60 days lying down — that's it!!!

It will be happening in Cologne, Germany where the aerospace center is based, between September and December 2019. 

It said weightlessness, which can be simulated through bed rest, could affect muscles and bones through reduced stress and also shift body fluids towards the head.

For two months, the participants will live in a single room but split into two groups.

One group will be rotated in a centrifuge, like an artificial gravity chamber, while the other group won't move.

Scientists, medical professionals, physiotherapists, and a nutritionist will be on hand to make sure participants are OK.

To men and women participate: you need to be aged between 24 and 55 and a non-smoker. You need to be between 152cm and 190cm tall and have a BMI of between 19 and 30.

There's a bit of a process involved in taking part, including a questionnaire, a follow-up event, and a mental and physical fitness assessment.

The participants will be paid including an expense allowance of €16,500 euros.

Some people love the idea, while the others were not enthusiastic about it.
