微信号 TimeOutBeijingEN 功能介绍 TimeOutBeijing英文刊官方微信 Where on earth will we get our hummus lifeline from now? Although the shift in digs from the doomed Fangjia Hutong to Beixinqiao provided the Middle Eastern food fanatics with a temporary respite, the poor folks at Moxi Moxi have suffered under the hand of city planners yet again. They've only been cosied down in their new place for a paltry couple of months, but questions over the integrity of their roof have meant that, in a puff of chickpeas and tahini, they've been forced to shut down operations for a second time. Not cool, powers that be. Not cool at all. How we're feeling right now. We spoke to the guys who run Moxi Moxi, who had this to say about the forced closure of their parsley-scented baby: 'After being shut down for the third time in Beijing due to unknown reasons or unplanned circumstances, we are not surprised by anything. We had no other choice but to wait for the workers to show up.' But fear not, falafel fans! The sabich-slingers have vowed to return in the future, promising Time Out that in light of the renovations they 'are focusing on developing our brand and franchising process, and we've got a new exciting shop opening really soon, as well as catering plans and a possible delivery service'. Now, that's a deceptively high-calorie plan we can all get firmly behind. Need a recap of the Fangjia situation? Hit '阅读原文'.
