The indie-pop band are set to embark on a five-city tour of China

Best known for the catchy-as-hell viral hit 'Pumped Up Kicks', American indie-pop band Foster the People are performing in China for the first time in January. Hitting up LA, Melbourne and Tokyo before making their way to Beijing on January 14, the four-piece will be rocking Tango's stage with new songs from their latest offering Sacred Hearts Club, which includes the '60s-inspired pop confection 'Sit Next to Me'.

Founded in 2009 by Mark Foster, Foster the People achieved worldwide attention with the 2011 release of their debut album Torches, which sold nearly two million albums and spawned chart-topping singles like 'Pumped Up Kicks', 'Don’t Stop (Color On The Walls)' and 'Helena Beat'. Garnering three Grammy nominations for their debut effort, 'Pumped Up Kicks' would also become the most-streamed single on Spotify in 2011.

Tickets are on sale now and are priced at 480RMB (presale).
