Tipsy Afternoon Tea with Time Out at SKP
Whoever says you can’t have cocktails for afternoon tea obviously didn’t have a great reason to. Until now, that is. From Sat 16 to Thu 21, for just six days, Time Out is working with SKP to do Tipsy Afternoon Teas with our award-winning bartenders.
The Venue
Where better to have an afternoon tête-à-tête than at SKP’s aptly named Rendez-Vous? RDV looks like a bookstore but is set to be a hub of all that’s creative at the luxury mall with regularly curated salons and art.
The Bartenders
Time Out Bar & Club 2017 Best Bartenders will be invading RDV with creative concoctions that befit its chic setting.
Frankie Zou
The founder of Botany, this year’s Time Out Bar & Club Awards Bar of the Year, Frankie is one of the big names in Beijing’s drinks industry. Previously with Maison Boulud, TRB and Domus, Frankie opened Botany in 2016 and has been winning awards, both industry, with accolades from Drink and consumer media since.
Paul Hsu
Paul Hsu gets around. While currently at the award-winning Infusion Room, he’s been mixing in various venues across Beijing, and of late Ocean Grounds and JC Lounge. He’s well-known in the industry and is regularly sought after to host masterclasses and as a judge for cocktail competitions. Look out for his inventive concoctions inspired by the surroundings.
Vivian Bie
Coming to RDV from behind the esteemed Long Bar at the Ritz Carlton is Vivian Bie. Vivian has won many cocktail competitions through the years including multiple awards as in the Cointreau Queen Competition and she’s bringing her style, and substance to Time Out’s Tipsy Afternoon Tea this week.
