A new home for the unwanted gifts and memories of brokenhearted Beijingers

Since late 2015, the Museum of Lost Love has been collecting the unwanted love letters, photos, gifts and stories of brokenhearted Beijingers, and putting them on display for the wider public. Inspired by a successful museum in Zagreb, Croatia, finance worker Wang Ying and three collaborators first made moves to curate the byproducts of breakups in the autumn of that year, and have now amassed over 100 items in their small space out in faraway Tongzhou district.
