The Chainsmokers, Afrojack and more announced for Ultra Festival
The electronic music festival makes its Beijing debut this June
If you're already getting festival-fatigue, then this summer's showing
no signs of letting up, with Miami-founded electronic music festival
Ultra set to make its Beijing debut this June.
Ultra
Festival made its Mainland debut in Shanghai last year, with headliners
like Armin van Buuren, Zedd and Martin Garrix. This time round, the EDM
behemoth is celebrating its 20th anniversary and expanding its already
considerable presence in over 20 cities to now include Melbourne and
Beijing.
In the past week, festival organisers released details of its 'phase one' lineup, and it's looking like an absolute corker.
The Chainsmokers.
Headliners
so far include Afrojack, The Chainsmokers, Illenium, Loco Dice, Nicky
Romero, RL Grime and Steve Angello, with additional support from the
likes of Fedde Le Grand, Nervo, Coyu and more.
Set to
take place from June 16-17, details of the festival's location and
ticketing are still unknown. Still, tickets to last year's Ultra
Festival Shanghai set attendees back 1,280RMB for a two-day pass, so
Beijingers can probably expect a similar price point.
