Craft brew gurus Jing A have opened a new beer garden for summer
A new pop-up in Damei Central Plaza from the local beer heavyweights
Just in time to kick off the World Cup and offer a beer sanctuary throughout the summer heat, craft brewers Jing A have opened a summer pop-up in Damei Central Plaza, and to celebrate, they're hosting a World Cup launch party on Thursday 14 June, offering buy-one-get-one-free beers all night. Throughout summer and the World Cup, their newest pop-up is set to bring World Cup screenings, beer deals, a snack menu and even some cheeky wine for those who don't want beer on tap.
Located in the outdoor patio of Damei Central Plaza, this newest addition to the Beijing beer family is a ten-minute ride east of Chaoyang Park, or about 20 minutes from Sanlitun. With Jing A's signature brews, seating for up to 80 and a breezy summer-garden feel, this pop-up might just be exactly what you need on a Beijing summer evening. Worker's Pale Ale, Flying Fist IPA, Mandarin Wheat and Tuhao Gold Pils will be just some of the Jing A classics available on tap, and those wanting something to soak it all up will be able to find a limited selection of Xingfucun Brewpub favourites, such as fried chicken (60RMB), classic cheeseburgers (50RMB), french fries (30RMB) and grilled sausages (50RMB).
Jing A Beer Garden at Damei Central Plaza will run throughout the summer, closing sometime in September or October. The pop-up will open from 5pm to late, with happy hour from 5 to 7pm on weekdays. It will show most of the World Cup matches, although those wanting to watch the (very) early morning ones will need to make a booking for a group of 10 or more by contacting 183 1001 9871. See you there!
