Karaiya Sanlitun to close, offers half-price dining deals
Heat seekers now need look elsewhere
Bad news spice lovers, Hunan eatery Karaiya Spice House is set to close its doors this Monday after eight years in Taikoo Li.
Citing an expired tenancy agreement as the reason behind the impending closure, the folks at Karaiya are putting all their efforts into the remaining days by offering half-price discounts on four of their signature dishes, with a different selection each day:

Saturday 28 July: Liling spicy pork stir-fry with vegetables (29RMB, down from 58RMB)
Sunday 29 July: bullfrog with shiso leaves and ginger (34RMB, down from 68RMB)
Monday 30 July: signature pork ribs (84RMB, down from 168RMB)

Plans for an additional restaurant in the CBD/Sanlitun area are also said to be in the pipeline.
