Drinking in Beijing is a serious business, and here at Time Out Beijing we care about getting it right. Over the past couple of months, the Time Out team have had the arduous task of sniffing down the best drinking and dancing establishments in Beijing, with the help of you, the readers.

Last night, at a smashingly great party at Peiping Machine, the results were announced, much fun was had, drinks were made and some very scantily-clad attractive men danced to everyone's delight.

The Time Out Bar & Club Awards are back for the sixth year running and, this time around, we collaborated closer than ever with our Chinese editorial team to make them as broad and comprehensive as possible – who knows, we might all learn a thing or two from each other.
