The Time Out Food Awards, now in its thirteenth year, is back. Besides our choices – picked by both our English- and Chinese-language editions, plus a panel of expert judges – it's up to you, our discerning readers, to decide which restaurants will win the coveted Readers' Choice awards.
This year also sees an increase – from 19 to 25 – in the number of awards given out, with new additions such as best Japanese and vegetarian restaurants.

However, before we get to the glitz and glamour of the awards ceremony, or the nitty gritty of the voting, we’ll be coming up with shortlists for the categories. As ever, we’ll be out and about with our eye on some of the city’s biggest (and smallest) names, but this time round, we also want to hear more from restaurant owners themselves.
We want to open this year’s awards up as far and wide as we can, so, restaurateurs, to put your fine eatery onto our radar and in with a shot at claiming an award, scan the QR code below and fill in the form to register.
We’ll be announcing shortlists and opening voting in the coming weeks, but until then, get registering, keep serving up the goods, and let the longing tastebuds of hungry Beijingers know why you should be crowned one of the capital’s premier restaurants. See you in June!
