Getting to Daxing Airport:
There are a couple of ways to get to Daxing Airport by public transport:
Jingxiong Inter-city Rail: This fast train, travelling at 250kmh departs from Beijing West Station and takes a quick 20 minutes to reach the north section of Daxing Airport. They expect to run just six trains a day initially though this will increase as passenger volumes increase.
New Airport Line: This dedicated train will run from Caoqiao Station (Line 10) in Fengtai district and Daxing Airport. Travelling at 160kmh, it is expected to take 19 minutes to reach the airport.
Airport buses: There will be six bus routes with destinations to the city that include Beijing Railway Station, Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station, Tongzhou, Fangshan and Xuanwumen.
Taxi: It will cost roughly 230RMB (or 270RMB with DiDi) and depending on traffic, take you anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours to get to Daxing Airport from Sanlitun.
Eventually there will be more connections to the city though we recommend you book flights that you don’t need to transfer between Beijing’s two international airports as there isn’t a direct route (yet) that connects them.
