Keep your good fortune for the Year of the Rat
Another lunar new year, another keeping-up-with-this-and-that-Chinese-traditions-to-avoid-any-misfortune. If you don’t know by now that cutting your hair in the month after CNY is supposed to bring bad luck to your uncle, perhaps it’s time to familiarize yourself with all the CNY dos and don’ts before causing any embarrassment. To help you squeeze in a harmless last-minute hairdo before the CNY, Jing A’s annual hutong haircut is back this weekend for those who’d like to look groomed and pretty before the hols.
