Spill the juicy details about living in Beijing in our global survey
We may be biased, but is there any city in the world more multi-faceted than Beijing? We want you to tell us (again).
Last year, we asked almost 34,000 of you lovely Time Out readers what your thoughts were on the best (and worst) parts of the city you live in. The results? Well, you didn't quite rate Beijing as much as we do (sad face), but a lot of you find Beijing as a great place to start a new relationship, with around 85 percent of Beijingers surveyed saying they regularly make new friends, and meet up with old ones.
But, we want to know what you think now. Whether you're new to Beijing, or you've been here since time immemorial, we want your thoughts on what it's like to live in this big, sometimes blue-skied, and ever-changing city of ours.
What's your favourite neighbourhood? Which neighbourhood do you think is the most overrated? How's it making friends here? Do you like the food you can find around town? What about the watering holes? Is it absolutely brilliant? Really quite good? Or just mama huhu?
Take the Time Out Index 2020 survey before the start March to let us know what you think about living in Beijing. It should only take you about 10 minutes, and it's a fun way to entertain yourself while waiting for your waimai driver. Side note: You should turn on your favourite wall-jumping service for the best experience.
And, since we know you love going on holiday just as much as you enjoy living here, we'll reward you at the end by revealing your soul city (a.k.a. the place you absolutely must visit this year) based on your answers.
