Situated in the shadow of casual dining titans like QMex Taqueria, Bottega inside Xinyuanli’s ever throbbing Jinshang complex, Malbec & Beef is a rustic Argentinian steakhouse that's worth a stop for committed wine lover and carnivores. 

A faithful purveyor of Argentinian cuisine and culture: the holy combination of red meat and red wine is the name of the game here. Come courtesy of malbec aficionado Jorge Wang, the latest Beijing ambassador of Argentinian food dishes up sizzling slabs of grass-fed Argentinian beef, completed with house-made chimichurri on the side.

Choose from a tantalising selection of steaks, like sirloin (179RMB), ribeye (239RMB), beef ribs (688RMB). Also expect specialities from the South American country like choripán (98RMB), as well as riffs on empanada, milanesa, ceviche, and churro.

Wine lovers can also explore a wine list devoted to Argentina’s signature grape varietals and diverse wine regions. There are nearly 30 varieties of malbec to sip on with a handful of by-the-glass options, as well as a pleasing selection of torrontés, a scant few Argentinian natural wines, plus decent cocktail and beer choices.
