这首抖音爆火神曲竟然是个美国小姐姐写的？网友：这中文比我都好

这位小姐姐名叫Christine Welch，不仅人美歌甜，还能用这么溜的中文写歌，也是很厉害了。

就在最近，Christine还接受了BBC的采访，讲述了这首中文作品背后的心路历程~

BBC：Christine Welch：美国人写的中文歌如何在中国爆火？

BBC报道中称，来自美国新墨西哥州的女孩Christine Welch从几年前就开始自己作词、演唱中文歌，直到她的歌曲《一百万个可能》爆火，成了她的突破之作。 

Christine Welch has been writing and singing in Mandarin Chinese for years, but got her big break when her song A Million Possibilities went viral.

Christine在采访中表示，她自大学时开始学中文，毕业后搬去了台湾。从那时起，她深深爱上了中国音乐，并开始写歌，然后发布在油管上。

I started learning Chinese at Northwestern University. So after I graduated, I moved to Taiwan. Since at that time I was just really getting into Chinese music, I started writing songs and posting them on Youtube.

《一百万个可能》(A Million Possibilities)这首歌写于2013年，那会儿的她正在思考自己的人生方向，感觉时时刻刻都有太多的可能。而这也成了Christine创作这首歌所想要表达的。

The song was written in 2013. At that time I was trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life really. In every moment there are so many possibilities. That’s the feeling I was trying to convey. 

谈到这首歌，Christine表示，歌曲让她想到下雪。午夜回家的路上，一切都那么洁白而安静。

The song itself really reminded me of snow falling. Coming home at midnight, where everything was white and silent.

除了唱歌，小姐姐还经常在脸书上分享自己的日常生活，Po文都是中文的哦~

大概从(去年)8月开始，人们开始在Christine的脸书主页上留言：“有个叫抖音的新APP，上面很多人都喜欢你的歌。”

I think it was around August that some people started coming to my Facebook page and saying ‘Hey, there’s a tonne of people who love your song on this new app called Tik Tok or Douyin in Chinese.’

甚至不少用户还用她的歌曲做视频的背景音乐。

Thousands were using her song as a soundtrack to their videos.

顺带着还成了KTV热门点唱歌曲。

It was also a huge karaoke hit.

小姐姐的中文歌写的这么好，不知道有没有写过英文歌呢？对此，Christine表示：“从未写过英文歌，觉得中文是非常具有诗意的语言。”

I’ve never written a song in English. I just feel that Chinese is a very poetic language. 

话说小姐姐写的中文歌词确实很“诗意”呢~

Christine则表示，希望大家能看到她的才华并记住她的名字。 

A lot of the video (responses) I see are just like “Oh this foreigner sings in Chinese!” I hope that people will be able to recognise that I’m an individual and be able to know my name.

而对于这首歌的爆火，Christine说，希望继续自己的音乐创作。有很多能唱中文歌的人，我觉得这并不稀奇。希望我的歌词能够打动人，并与之对话。

I hope to keep recording music on my own. I mean, I think there’s a lot of people who can sing in Chinese. I don’t think that’s really all that special. But I hope that my lyrics can really reach people and speak to them.
