美国首例！同时感染！专家：“太倒霉了”

人有可能同时感染新冠病毒和猴痘病毒吗？近日，美国就出现了这样一个病例。

据美国《纽约邮报》7月22日报道，美国加利福尼亚州一名男子同时感染新冠和猴痘病毒，他因“双倍的痛苦”而几个星期无法下床。这也是美国首个同时感染新冠和猴痘病毒的病例。

A California man contracted COVID-19 and monkeypox at the same time – a double-dose of misery that left him flattened for weeks.

患者名叫米乔·汤普森（Mitcho Thompson），他于6月底确诊新冠肺炎，几天过后，背部、腿部、手臂和颈部又出现红色疹子，被医生诊断为感染猴痘病毒。

Mitcho Thompson of Sebastopol said shortly after he tested positive for COVID-19 at the end of June and was feeling wiped out, he noticed red lesions on his back, legs, arms and neck.

“我先是感染了新冠，情况因此复杂了，因为我压根没意识到我还感染了猴痘，直到（猴痘的）症状开始爆发……”

“The Covid was first, and that’s what made it really weird because I didn’t actually realize I had Monkeypox until I started breaking out...”

得知医生诊断后，汤普森难以置信地问：“我有可能同时感染新冠和猴痘吗？”医生很肯定地回复，“是的，没错，完全有可能。”

"The doctor was very certain that I have monkeypox and that I had both," Thompson said. "That was the question. Could I get them at the same time? And he said, 'Yes, yes, yes.'"

汤普森说，他出现发烧、呼吸困难、发冷、身体疼痛等症状，几乎下不了床，一度无法喝水。在休息几个星期后，终于有所好转。

Thompson said the twin viruses left him feeling as if he had a severe case of influenza. He also had a fever, labored breathing, chills, body aches and skin lesions.

“Really sick,” Thompson recalled. “And the worst of it was honestly where I just could barely get out of bed, and you could barely like get a drink of water.”

据美国斯坦福大学医学教授和传染病专家迪恩·温斯洛（Dean Winslow）介绍，虽然同时感染这两种病毒的情况很少见，但确实是有可能的，他表示汤普森“实在是太倒霉了”。

Dr. Dean Winslow, professor of medicine and infectious disease specialist at Stanford, said while it is rare, it is possible for someone to get both monkeypox and COVID-19 at the same time.

"It's certainly not impossible for that to occur," he said. "It's just incredibly bad luck. They are very different viruses."

温斯洛称，新冠病毒与猴痘病毒有很大区别，新冠比猴痘更容易传播。而他所知的绝大部分猴痘案例，都是通过皮肤接触传播的。

“猴痘的一个特点是，它是通过非常密切的接触传播的，不一定是性接触，但肯定是非常密切的接触。”

据纽约邮报报道，两个月以来全美已报告了2400多例猴痘病例，病毒主要通过皮肤接触传播，也可能通过被感染者使用过的床单等物品传播。

More than 2,400 cases of monkeypox have been reported nationwide as part of an international outbreak that began two months ago. The virus spreads primarily through skin-to-skin contact, but it can also be transmitted through linens used by an infected person.

此前，世界卫生组织已于23日宣布，在多个国家和地区发生的猴痘疫情构成“国际关注的突发公共卫生事件”。
