Age 2 to 6: The Prime Time for a Child’s Development
Children between the ages of 2 and 6 are at their prime time for development. They are curious about the world, extremely quick to learn, and are developing their language skills rapidly. Based on scientific research, Harrow Little Lions has developed a curriculum that acknowledges aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), from the UK, while specifically incorporates the Chinese guidelines for kindergarten aged children. It strategically develops children’s language skills, analytical mind, creativity and fellowship; aiming to maximise a child’s potential and prepare them as leaders of tomorrow.

比如，在下雨的情景下，分别安排外籍老师和中方老师进行教学，老师会基于中英两国不同的文化背景，解释雨的来源去处和相关的典故。孩子不仅要分别用中、英文聆听老师的教导，并回应老师的问题，还会在每次交流中强化"下雨"这一课题的专用名词。我们在不断丰富孩子的双语词汇库之余，使孩子在两种语言模式和文化模式下生动地学习雨的概念，提高他们的表达能力和自信心。

Bilingual and Bicultural Education for Leaders of Tomorrow
At Harrow Little Lions, children are supported to become fluent bilingual speakers through thematic learning and strategic time tabling. Children learn with native English and native Chinese teachers separately on the same theme. During any given topic, children will be taught the same knowledge using different languages, with native speaking teachers to strengthen their knowledge and fluency. This exposure will enable a natural expansion of their vocabulary whilst learning different cultural perspectives.
Possessing proficient language skills is advantageous. Good language skills can enable children to become exceptionally communicative; being able to express themselves clearly can help build their confidence. Harrow Little Lions aims to develop children beyond academic success. In addition to supporting academic achievement, our Little Lions foster skills to become global citizens for tomorrow’s world. Jan Dubiel先生
哈罗小狮幼教中心总园长
被《泰晤士报》教育增刊选为英国教育界十大最具影响力人物之一的杜百彦Jan Dubiel先生于2020年加入哈罗大家庭，担任哈罗小狮幼教中心总园长，为哈罗小狮幼教中心策划全人教育课程，以国际高端幼儿教育指标为标准，为2-6岁孩子带来具哈罗特质的国际级幼儿教育。
Dubiel先生获英国教育部任命为英国早期基础阶段教育体系（EYFS）框架评估系统的统筹者，负责该体系在全国范围内的统筹工作，并与决策者进行战略合作。他还曾在英国著名幼儿教育教师专家培训机构Early Excellence担任国内和国际发展负责人。
自 2016 年起，Dubiel先生在中国广泛开展工作，为幼儿园园长和教师编写材料，提供培训、指导和支持，并在全国各地举办的全国性或国际性会议上发表演讲。
在5月9日的分享会中，杜百彦总园长将融合科学数据基础和多年幼教心得，为家长剖析2-6岁儿童发展的路径，就如何能激发孩子大脑、把握孩子发展黄金期、为他们的未来打好基础等问题答疑解惑。

Jan is now actively involved in the further development of the Harrow Little Lions Curriculum, Super Curriculum and Co-curricular, producing the best opportunities for young children in our Early Years Centre to maximise every child’s potential and greater achievements.
