Apple CEO Tim Cook Visits ofo Office
Apple CEO Tim Cook made an interesting first stop during his trip to China this week- the headquarters of Beijing-based bike-sharing company ofo.
There was no discussion of investment or future collaboration, but Apple is an investor of Didi Chuxing, which has invested heavily in ofo. Cook met with founding members including ofo CEO Dai Wei.
In his official Sina Weibo post, Cook wrote "Thanks for welcoming me today, ofo team! Great energy behind your mission to make commuting greener, more efficient and fun!"

The popular bike sharing app passed the$1 billion valuation earlier this year, and is currently operating in 43 Chinese cities with over 2.2 million bikes. It is also currently expanding to Singapore, London and California.
Cook was presented with a special yoga mat with the serial number 8000001
Ofo wasn’t the only stop for Cook, he also paid a visit to KEEP, a fitness APP that allows users to plan, track and share their workouts to social media. Keep was initially rejected by apple but was successful after modification. KEEP currently has over 30 million users in China.
