Newly Opened Oh My Burger is Meat Lover's Paradise!

Have you ever tried a burger with a bun made of fried noodles? Well now you can! A new venue just opened in town that serves outside-the-box delights that rewrite the burger rule book! We’ve had an amazing time trying these kitchen monsters and we’re here to tell you what to try, and what is best avoided. 

The Concept

Gourmet Burgers

Oh My Burger is a casual and stylish venue to grab a gourmet burger with friends. The name 'Oh my Burger' is exactly what your heart will sing after the first bite, like a hiccup you can’t control. Located on JianGuo Xi Lu, their burgers are to die for and a pretty unquie addition to the area.

Owned and managed by a group of creative young friends, they are willing to serve you great food, in a clean environment, for an honest price with great service. The standout though, of course- the burgers. They're big, delicious, and not to be taken lightly.

The Burgers

Burger N1: 拉面 RAMEN RMB 70

Look at this… straight in with the noodles, without even a thought. This is what everybody should have at least once…a week. More than just fulfilling and delicious, this burger is a call to your most uninhibited and wild desires. In other words it will awaken the beast because it is impossible to eat it properly! Put decorum and etiquette to the side for this one. Grab it, destroy it, enjoy it!

Burger N2:饽饽BAO RMB 70

Stuffed Baozis in a burger are all the rage in London and the craze has just hit Shanghai. It mixes the pleasure of a Baozi with a burger. Original and a great option for those who can’t digest bread. Give it a try, at the very least it’s worth an Instagram picture. And yes, we played with it a bit. It is round in shape, soft, white - but it was too tempting to squeeze… 

“Oh…. my Burger” rate: 8/10. Stuffed with fried beer chicken and greeneries.  

Burger N3: VEGAN ONLY RMB65

In one word: awesome! We were a bit concerned about this burger, are we going to destroy it while we cut it? Will the mushroom be too moist and mushy? Why did they serve us vegan food?  But after we took the knife to it, all our concerns vanished. The melting texture makes it really easy to cut and eat, while the mix between mushroom, quinoa and avocado is unique and delightful. Look at this gif, now you get our point.

The Fries

A Burger - however great is it - without fries is like a date without a kiss… a waste of time. This Burger came with three kinds of fries: Cajun Fries, Slim fries, and ones that are double fried in duck oil. In total it comes to RMB 40 for the first two and RMB 50 for the last one - If you take it alone. 

FINALLY: They have a set deal at RMB 85 for a burger+ soft drink + fries. Perfect!  FYI they do 20% discount on everything until the end of the month.

Who you should go with: Definitely not your first date but your best friend 

What you should drink: Cranberry Basil Spritzer or Ginger Peach Soda

What you should eat: The marvelous Ramen burger, we can’t wait to go there again!
