It looks like the dreaded high temps are upon us again. Shanghai this week is set to get up to the 30 degree range. Don’t worry though, there’s a perfect solution: go eat lots of ice cream. Here’s where: 



BUCO



The owner of Buco was born into an ice cream family, and from the age of just 7 years old he starting making his own ice cream! Hes since travelled all over the world opening up gelato shops, and now hes finally graced us with his presence in Shanghai. The different flavors have been inspired by places all around the world. Who knows - maybe hell create a special Shanghai flavor next?!

PLEASURE STORE



This pop up is here finally, but it won’t be staying for long. For the next 2 weeks, the brand will feature their long awaited limited edition Pleasure Store X Mika Ninagawa ice-cream!


Apart from the annual “DIY Make Your Magnum” section, Pleasure Store has also collaborated with BoboLEE for a special collection of ice-cream and sweet treats.

SWEETIST



The famous pop-up store Sweetist is back at the Coffee Belt in Shaanxi nan Lu. Bigger than before, the shop sells up to 6 ice cream flavors, each hand-crafted by the boss herself. 



Sharing the star of the show with her ice-cream, the stunning lady boss is also one of the main reasons why so many flock to the store and keep coming back.

CREMIA


The urban myth of the delicious Hokkaido ice-cream is real, and you can get it at Cremia!



With flavors like the famous Shiroi Koibito snack, it is no wonder many are fans of Cremia, and are always eager to try the decadent, 12.5% fat ice-cream.

MISSOO



Opened by a German expat, Missoo is known for its italian Gelato. 


Having 12 different types of ice-cream, opt for a single or double scoop from their weekly-changing menu. With more than 100 flavors, you can be sure you’ll never get bored.

CHO-COLLECTOR



Even if you haven’t heard of this shop, you must have tried their famous croissants. 



Crispy and fluffy, pair them with an ice-cream to turn the old-time classic into a summer dream.

Selling Italian Gelato, Bonus is only here till September, the autumnal season where hairy crab season starts.

YOGALICIOUS



Opened by a fitness enthusiast returning from New York, Yogalicious finds its home in a small bar along Wukang Lu. Beautifully decorated, many flock here to try out the healthy dessert treats. 



Acai bowls aren’t really considered ice-creams, but we feel strongly that they are equally as good and visually appealing.

ALICE CREPES



Known for their stunning rainbow ice-cream and Japanese themed staff, Alice Crepes has quickly built a name for itself in Shanghai. 



We recommend trying out the rainbow ice-cream, it looks and tastes delightful.

Hailing from New York, the famous Macaron ice-cream!

You’d never expect a store filled with Pipa and Erhu would actually sell ice-cream. Well, think again.

That’s right, Initial is apparel X ice-cream brand.



After their Tiffany Blue “Tear” ice-cream shot to fame last year, Initial is back with their pink color “Bubbling Romance” ice-cream flavor.
