Audi Car Share Coming to Shanghai
Think bike shares are cool? Wait until you try Audi share. That’s right, the German auto company has already launched an A3 share in Beijing, and they’ve announced they’ll be offering the service in Shanghai “soon.”
So how does it work? Pretty much the same way bike shares do, only a little more expensive. Users must download an APP called Ezzy, then register and put down a RMB 1000 deposit. The APP will show you cars nearby and when you find one, simply take a photo of it in the app and it will open up. Driving for 30 minutes costs RMB15. After 30 minutes, it costs RMB 0.5 per minute. When finished using the car, park it in any legal parking space.
